3-alkyloxy-, aryloxy-, or arylalkyloxybenzo (B) thiophene-2-carboxamides that are cell adhesion inhibitors |
abstract |
3-alkyloxy-, aryloxy-, or arylalkyloxybenzo [b] thiophene-2-carboxamides have been described as agents that block the adhesion of leukocytes to the vascular endothelium and thus are effective in treating inflammatory diseases. It is a cure. Some of these compounds are novel and methods of preparation are also described. |
