abstract |
The present invention relates to (a) an oxazolidine of formula (4) by coupling an oxazolidine dimer derivative of formula (2) or a salt thereof to a 7-trihaloacetyl-baccatin III of formula (3) in the presence of a condensing agent in a solvent: Preparing a side chain-containing taxane dimer; (b) ring-opening an oxazolidine ring in the presence of an acid in a solvent and reacting with benzoyl chloride in the presence of a base in the case where R is t-butoxycarbonyl to prepare 7-trihaloacetyl paclitaxel of Formula 5 ; (c) a method of preparing paclitaxel of formula (I) characterized by removing trihaloacetyl in 7-position with ammonia or a salt of ammonia and a weak acid in a solvent.n n n [Formula 2]n n n n n n n n [Formula 3]n n n n n n n n [Formula 4]n n n n n n n n [Formula 5]n n n n n n n n [Formula 1]n n n n n n n n In the above formulan n n R represents t-butoxycarbonyl or benzoyl,n n n R 1 represents trihaloacetyl. |
