Coating compositions wherein the film-forming binder comprises an acrylic acid polymer having two or more reactive anhydride groups, an epoxy containing crosslinker, and an epoxy-silane modifier are useful as surface treatment films for automobiles and trucks. The composition can be used as a 1-package system with a suitable lifetime. The composition is characterized by improved environmental resistance. |
