abstract (A) the polyester compositionn n n (a) an aromatic copolyester having a melting point of 210 to 245 캜,n n n (b) first inert solid fine particles having an average particle diameter of 0.05 to 0.6 mu m;n n n (c) contains second inert solid fine particles having an average particle diameter of 0.3 to 2.5 mu m,n n n Here, the ratio of the average particle diameter of the second inert solid fine particles to the average particle diameter of the first inert solid fine particles is 2.5 or more, and the amounts of the components (b) and (c) are the components (a), (b) and ( based on the total amount of c), from 0.01 to 3% by weight and from 0.001 to 0.2%, respectively;n n n (B) the plane orientation coefficient of the polyester film is 0.08 to 0.16;n n n (C) A biaxially oriented polyester film made of a polyester composition, characterized in that the polyester film is laminated on a metal plate to show excellent molding processability when subjected to deep drawing.n n n Cans for beverages, foods and the like having excellent heat resistance and fragrance-retaining properties can be prepared by laminating the biaxially oriented polyester film on a metal plate.
