abstract |
The present invention relates to elastomeric compositions for insertion into mechanically loaded articles comprising ethylene-α-olefin-elastic polymers reinforced with metal salts of α-β-unsaturated organic acids. The composition is cured using a free radical promoter. The present invention includes articles that are subjected to mechanical loads to insert these elastomeric compositions and beltings including power transmission and flat belting to insert these elastomeric compositions as the main belt body portion of the article. |
