titleOfInvention Large diesel engine
abstract The large diesel engine of the present invention is used to propel a ship or drive a generator of a diesel power plant installed at a certain place, and in a large diesel engine having a plurality of cylinders and an exhaust manifold connected to the cylinder, In order to remove nitrogen oxides from the exhaust gas, a static mixer type catalyst part is disposed in the exhaust manifold, and a reducing agent supplier is disposed in front of the inlet through which the exhaust gas enters the catalyst part. By using this large diesel engine, it is possible to greatly reduce the emission of nitrogen oxides without requiring a space for the catalyst other than the space for the engine.
