titleOfInvention | Cd27 cell surface antigen and a recombinant dna encoding the same |
abstract | The present invention is directed to a simple and highly efficient method for cloning cDNAs from mammalian expression libraries based on transient expression in mammalian host cells.n n n A novel expression vector is also described that allows for the highly efficient construction of mammalian cDNA libraries. The cloning method of the present invention, which has been used to clone genes for cell surface antigens of human lymphocytes, is generally applied to cloning genes. The cell surface antigen cloned according to the present invention was purified and its nucleotide sequence and amino acid sequence determined. These antigens have utility in the diagnosis and treatment of immune mediated infectious diseases in mammals, including humans. |
