Hepatocellular and anti-hepatic fibrosis therapy containing water-soluble extracts of Asiaticoside and Matecasoside isolated from Centella asiatica |
abstract |
The present invention relates to a water-soluble extract of asiaticoside and matecasoside excellent in hepatocyte protection and antifibrotic effect from Centella asiatica (L) Urb, and a method for separating the same.n n n Methylene chloride was added to the extract obtained by adding ethanol aqueous solution to the sample, and the layers were separated. The supernatant was extracted with normal butane, and the normal butane layer was washed with caustic soda and washed with water. The butanol layer was concentrated under pressure, crystallized by adding ethyl acetate, separated, washed, and dried to separate an extract mixed with asiaticoside and matecasoside.n n n Soluble extracts were tested for toxic block and recovery effects by inducing toxicity to hepatocytes in rats. In order to confirm the anti-fibrotic effect, it was confirmed that the biliary ligation method and the liver fibrosis test had an effect of relieving fibrosis. |
