The present invention relates to a structural or soluble high insulation panel, which may be translucent and is formed from the multilayered polymer material (9, 11, 13) in the form of an envelope (5) surrounding the baffle (17). The baffle 17 is designed to minimize heat transfer across the panel by using a material that creates a highly confined space to suppress convection of the low conductivity gaseous charge. At least a portion of the baffle 17 carries a low emitting surface for suppression of infrared radiation. |
