titleOfInvention | Polymeric thermostat and thermosensitive element using same |
abstract | A polymer thermal element comprising a polyamide composition in which 5.3 to 30 parts by weight of zinc iodide is blended with 100 parts by weight of polyamide, or a polyamide composition in which an iodine compound and a metal oxide such as zinc oxide are blended.n n n The ion carrier property of the iodine metal compound significantly increases the temperature dependence of the impedance, and zinc oxide, which is a metal oxide, acts as a receptor for iodine ions to prevent the formation of iodine metal on the surface of the metal electrode. Furthermore, zinc oxide functions as a ring cycle that produces zinc iodide and improves the conduction safety of half-waves, thereby improving thermal stability of the polymer thermostat over a long period of time. As the thermal heater, the heat resistance stability can be significantly increased. |
