titleOfInvention Removal of sulfur compounds in furfural
abstract The present invention relates to a method for removing sulfur compounds in furfural (FL), and more particularly to a novel method for removing sulfur compounds present in trace amounts in the furfural represented by the following structural formula (I),n n n n n n n n The compound represented by the structural formula (I) is used as a raw material of furfuryl alcohol used as a furan resin for casting, and in removing sulfur compounds present in the furfural, the furfural is 0.01 to 1.0 of NaOH or Na 2 CO 3. The present invention relates to a method for removing sulfur compounds in furural, characterized in that the sulfur compounds dissolved in the aqueous layer are removed after dissolving in an alkaline aqueous solution which is dissolved in% by weight.
