The present invention includes an alignment film formed thereon covering a circuit element of a TFT plate including a plurality of pixel electrodes as a TFT plate of a liquid crystal display device, and black matrices covering a space between the pixel electrode and the pixel electrode on the alignment film. Grooves for liquid crystal alignment are formed in the alignment layer under the black matrix.n n n In addition, a method of manufacturing a TFT plate of a liquid crystal display device of the present invention includes the steps of forming a gate line, a TFT, a data line, and a pixel electrode on a transparent substrate, forming an alignment film on the entire surface, and a black resin on the alignment film. Forming a black matrix pattern by forming and selectively etching the film. |
