abstract | The present invention (a) 10 to 60% by weight of synthetic, soap detergent; (b) 10 to 60% by weight of a water-soluble substance having a melting point in the range of 40 ° C. to 100 ° C., neither soap nor soap detergent; And (c) 5 to 50% by weight of a water-insoluble substance having a melting point in the range of 40 ° C. to 100 ° C., which is neither a soap nor a soap detergent. The content of water, if present, does not exceed 20%, more preferably 15%, by weight of the composition. The materials (b) and (c) serve to provide the structure to the bar. These compositions can be prepared by melting the above components together at a temperature of 50 ° C. to 100 ° C., without the usual vigorous kneading. Preferably the molten mixture contains less than 20% by weight of substances not included in the liquid phase, other than synthetic soap detergents. The melt can be cast directly, chilled, ground or kneaded immediately afterwards. |
