titleOfInvention Novel aromatic polyamide polymer derivative for liquid crystal aligning agent and preparation method thereof
abstract The present invention relates to an aromatic polyamide polymer derivative for a liquid crystal aligning agent that can be used for a liquid crystal aligning film, and a method for producing the same, which is soluble in organic solvents such as NMP, chloroform, THF, DMSO, and o-chlorophenol, and having heat resistance (Tg of 160 ° C or higher). And liquid crystals having excellent orientation (except for propyl, dodecyl and octadecyl groups), and capable of expressing various pretilt angles (0.2 ° to 8.1 °) depending on the type of the substituent, that is, the side chain, and capable of low-temperature baking. N-substituted aromatic polyamide derivatives for alignment agents can be used in plastic substrates or thin film transistor liquid crystal displays that require low temperature thermal firing.
