titleOfInvention Flocculant for flocculating rubber latex and its manufacturing method
abstract The flocculant of the present invention comprises the alkyl acrylate having 1 to 12 carbon atoms, the anionic surfactant and the anionic initiator in the first step to form agglomerated nuclei by batch polymerization so that the conversion rate is 90% or more, the polymer of the first step A second step of growing the flocculant by semi-batch polymerization by adding an alkyl acrylate and an ionic comonomer, and adding an alkyl acrylate, an ionic comonomer and a secondary initiator to the surface of the flocculant The ionic comonomer, which is a functional monomer, is prepared by a third step process for copolymerization. The flocculant of this invention contains 0.1-0.5 weight part of ionic comonomer, 0.5-4.0 weight part of anionic surfactant, and 0.3-2.0 weight part of anionic initiator with respect to 100 weight part of alkylacrylates. Less than about 5% of the alkylacrylate is used in the first stage, about 90% of the total is used in the second stage, and the remaining alkylacrylate is used in the third stage. In the ionic comonomer, 5-20% of the total is used in the second stage, and about 80-95% of the total is used in the third stage. 90-70% of the anionic initiator is used in the first stage, and 10-30% of the total is used in the third stage. In order to flocculate rubber latex, 0.1-5.0 weight part of flocculant is mixed per 100 weight part of rubber latex.
