abstract |
A toner composition for developing electrostatic charge which has high cleaning performance and abrasion suppressing ability of the light receiving member. The toner composition is composed of toner particles and cerium oxide fine particles containing fluorine added to the toner particles. The toner composition has a fluorine content of 0.1 to 10% by weight and (a) charges the latent image carrier, (b) forms the electrostatic latent image, and (c) develops the electrostatic latent image with a developer to form a toner image. (d) transferring the formed toner image to an image receptor, and (e) removing the toner remaining on the latent image carrier. |
