titleOfInvention | Electrostatic Image Toner |
abstract | The electrostatic charge image developing toner includes (a) toner particles having a weight average particle size of 1 to 9 μm, (b) hydrophobized inorganic fine powder having an average particle size of 10 to 90 nm, and (c) hydrophobized silicon compound fine powder. It includes. The hydrophobized silicon compound fine powder has an average particle size of 5 to 30 nm, and 15 to 45% by number of particles having a size of 5 to 30 nm, and 30 to 70% and 60 nm or less of particles having a size of 30 to 60 nm. It has a particle size distribution containing 5 to 45% by number of particles having a size. The hydrophobized silicon compound fine powder having a wide particle size distribution including coarse particles functions to prevent the hydrophobized inorganic fine powder from being embedded on the surface of the toner particles (as a fluidity improving agent), so that the toner is continuously formed on a plurality of sheets. This results in stable performance even when forming an image. |
