| abstract |
The present invention relates to a thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer having a narrow molecular weight distribution of high molecular weight containing only a small amount of small granules. High quality thermoplastic elastomers are excellent in formability and can be spun without spinning yarn cutting. Elastomers are produced in a short time at relatively high temperatures by melt blown spinning of prepolymers with low molecular weight diols. The invention also relates to an apparatus for producing the elastic body and to a spun yarn made therefrom. |
