Salts of quinolone-carboxylic acids and compositions thereof |
abstract |
The present invention relates to an organic acid salt of quinolone-carboxylic acid of formula (I), a preparation method thereof, and a pharmaceutical composition containing the salt thereof.n n n n n n n n In which R represents cyclopropyl.n n n The compound of formula (I) is a known compound having a strong antimicrobial effect and is widely used in the treatment of infectious diseases, but is difficult to be used as an injection because it is poorly soluble in water. Several organic acids are known for this compound, with lactic acid being representative.n n n The solution of the present invention is an aqueous solution of the compound of formula (I) with 5-oxotetrahydrofuran-2-carboxylic acid instead of lactic acid as a solubilizer to significantly increase the solubility.n n n This invention makes the salt of 5-oxotetrahydrofuran-2-carboxylic acid of the said compound of formula (I), its manufacturing method, and the pharmaceutical composition containing the salt into the claim. |
