titleOfInvention Rehydration product and its manufacturing method
abstract Hydratable iontophoretic bioelectrodes comprise a plurality of layers of material capable of absorbing and retaining fluid when in contact with the ionized fluid. In one embodiment, a layer of strongly crosslinked dry hydrogel is used with a layer of second weakly crosslinked dry hydrogel. If a weakly crosslinked dry hydrogel layer is placed in contact with the skin during iontophoresis, the chemical ion is concentrated in the vicinity of the skin. If the strongly crosslinked layer is located after the conductive member, the adverse effect of corrosion or hydrolysis of the conductive member is reduced. In another embodiment, adjacent layers are disposed between layers of space components, such as sugar or insoluble particles or cellulose, or to form a three-dimensional pattern so as to at least partially contact each other to enhance the rate of hydration.
