abstract The present invention relates to an emulsion polymer dispersion having internal pores and a method for preparing the same, and more particularly, to form a non-spherical form of micropores formed in the interior of particles during drying. The present invention relates to a multi-step emulsion polymerization method and a polymer particle dispersion according to the method for further maximizing its hiding efficiency by widening the light blocking area of the coating film surface using a particle agglomeration process.n n n Such polymer particle dispersions are used as opacifying agents in white or light aqueous coatings, paper coatings and molding compositions.
