titleOfInvention Antagonist microorganism with plant disease control activity
abstract The present invention provides a new strain Pseudomonas maltophilia isolated from the soil and a method for controlling plant diseases using the strain.n n n New strain Pseudomonas maltophilia AG-12 (KFCC-10809) provided by the present invention, mutants TM 23,24 and 25, which increased the control activity by introducing Tn5 into the strain, caused great damage to horticultural crops. It has a broad and strong antimicrobial activity against red pepper germ, cucumber manure and cabbage wearing germ. The present invention also provides a method for controlling the above-described plant diseases using microbial agents comprising these strains.n n n According to the new strains and methods of the present invention, it is possible to effectively control various plant diseases that have caused great damage to conventional horticultural crops.
