titleOfInvention | Modified fibroin |
abstract | The present invention is a modified fibroin containing a domain sequence represented by formula 1: [(A) n motif-REP] m or formula 2: [(A) n motif-REP] m- (A) n motif. The present invention relates to modified fibroin having a serine residue content of less than 5.5%. [In Formulas 1 and 2, (A) the n motif represents an amino acid sequence composed of 4 to 27 amino acid residues, and (A) the number of alanine residues is 80% of the total number of amino acid residues in the n motif. That is all. REP shows an amino acid sequence consisting of 10 to 200 amino acid residues. m represents an integer of 10 to 300. The plurality of (A) n motifs may have the same amino acid sequence or different amino acid sequences. The plurality of REPs may have the same amino acid sequence or different amino acid sequences. ] |
