abstract A step of reacting an α-glucan having a weight average molecular weight in the range of 2000 to 200,000 with a compound represented by the formula I to introduce a group represented by the formula II into the α-glucan, represented by the formula II. The step of oxidizing the α-glucan into which the group to be introduced is introduced with perioic acid or periodate to introduce the aldehyde group into the α-glucan, the group represented by the formula II and the aldehyde group are α-. Photodegradability including a step of adding an aminated carrageenan gel beads in which polydopamine particles are embedded to a gelling agent introduced into glucan and cross-linking with a polythiol reducing agent to form a hydrogel. A hydrogel whose decomposition is precisely controlled by a method for producing a hydrogel is provided.
