abstract (EN) Provided are a PVA film which is excellent in stretching processability and which can obtain a stretched film having good transparency and low retardation, a method for producing such a PVA film, and a stretched film obtained from such a PVA film. The polyvinyl alcohol film of the present invention contains polyvinyl alcohol (A) and polyisoprene rubber particles (B), and the average particle diameter of the polyisoprene rubber particles (B) is 85 nm or more and 700 nm or less. The polyvinyl alcohol film has a content of particles (B) of 3 parts by mass or more and 35 parts by mass or less with respect to 100 parts by mass of the polyvinyl alcohol (A).
