abstract An object of the present invention is to provide a guide wire capable of preventing the coil body and the core shaft from breaking when the guide wire is bent. The guide wire 1 of the present invention covers the core shaft 100 in which the tip portion P1 is gradually reduced in diameter, the inner coil body 200 that covers at least a part of the outer periphery of the tip portion P1, and the outer periphery of the inner coil body 200. A guide wire including an outer coil body 300 and a tip fixing portion 400 to which the tip of the core shaft 100 or the like is fixed. The tip portion P1 is a small diameter portion 110 and an inner coil body in the rear end direction from the small diameter portion 110. It is located inside the 200 and the outer coil body 200, and has a large diameter portion 120 having an outer diameter larger than that of the small diameter portion 110, and a tapered portion 130 that expands in diameter from the small diameter portion 110 toward the large diameter portion 120. A marker portion 500 containing a radiation-impermeable substance m is formed on the outer peripheral surface of the portion 130, and a gap P2 is provided between the marker portion 500 and the inner coil body 200.
