abstract |
The present invention provides polynucleotides and methods that efficiently suppress gene expression. In the genome sequence, 5 to 9 bases on the 5'-side from the base corresponding to the 3'-end of mRNA (including the base on the 3'-end of mRNA), and 5 to 9 bases on the 3'-side (of mRNA). A polynucleotide capable of hybridizing to a contiguous sequence (without 3'-terminal bases); a polynucleotide in which the polynucleotide comprises at least one nucleotide analog; a gene expression containing the polynucleotide as an active ingredient. Inhibitors are disclosed. |
