abstract |
The present invention provides a binder for a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery electrode containing a crosslinked polymer or a salt thereof, and its use. The crosslinked polymer has a structural unit derived from an ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid monomer in an amount of 50 to 99% by mass, and a structural unit derived from an alicyclic structure-containing ethylenically unsaturated monomer, based on all structural units. It contains 1 to 50 mass%. The crosslinked polymer is preferably neutralized to a degree of neutralization of 80 to 100 mol% and then has a particle size measured in an aqueous medium of 0.1 to 10 μm in volume-based median size. |
