abstract |
It provides a novel inter-neuron connection of neural networks. The perceptron included in the neural network has a plurality of neurons, each neuron has a synapse circuit and an activation function circuit, and the synapse circuit has a plurality of memory cells. A plurality of perceptrons share a bit line selected by address information for selecting a memory cell. An analog signal is given to the memory cell as a weighting coefficient, and an input signal is given to the synapse circuit. The memory cell multiplies the input signal by a weighting factor and converts the multiplication result into a first current. The synapse circuit adds a plurality of first currents to generate a second current and converts the second current into a first potential. The activation function circuit converts the first potential into a second potential by a ramp function, and gives the second potential as an input signal of a synapse circuit included in the next stage perceptron. |
