titleOfInvention | Phototherapy device and phototherapy method |
abstract | A phototherapy device and a phototherapy method are disclosed, which use an LED as a light source and suppress damage to a healthy part of the skin by light in a short wavelength band to obtain an appropriate therapeutic effect. A phototherapy device (10) is provided with a light source part (12) which irradiates treatment light in the UV-B region to an affected part. The light source unit (12) has an LED element (12a) that emits light in the UV-B region, and the peak wavelength of the emitted light of the LED element (12a) is 312 nm or more. Moreover, it is preferable that the peak wavelength of the emitted light of LED element (12a) is 315 nm or less, and it is preferable that the emitted light of LED element (12a) has a spectrum whose half value width is 20 nm or less. |
