Provided are a vehicle interior board and a method for manufacturing the same, which are less deteriorated and peeled near the end of a metal plate, are high quality, are thin and light, have high strength, and are excellent in productivity. A pair of metal plates 11, 12 and a foamed polyurethane layer 13 formed between the pair of metal plates 11, 12, and at the peripheral edge, the foamed polyurethane layer 13 is a peripheral edge of the metal plates 11, 12. The portions 11c and 12c are covered and formed flush with the outer surfaces 11a and 12a of the metal plates 11 and 12, respectively. Thereby, the oxidation of the surrounding edge parts 11c and 12c which are the cut surfaces of the metal plates 11 and 12 can be suppressed. Further, the bonding between the metal plates 11 and 12 and the foamed polyurethane layer 13 is improved, and peeling of the metal plates 11 and 12 and chipping of the foamed polyurethane layer 13 can be prevented. Moreover, the release of the vehicle interior board 1 is facilitated. |
