abstract | In the regeneration from an aromatic amide compound to a corresponding aromatic nitrile compound, a method of suppressing the generation of by-products and enabling a dehydration reaction to selectively obtain a target compound in a high yield is provided. Further, the present invention provides a method for producing an aromatic nitrile compound that reduces the number of steps of the dehydration reaction and greatly improves the reaction rate even under a pressure close to normal pressure. Furthermore, the manufacturing method is applied to a carbonate ester manufacturing method to realize an efficient carbonate ester manufacturing method. The above-described problem has been solved by a method for producing an aromatic nitrile compound including a dehydration reaction for dehydrating an aromatic amide compound, and using the diphenyl ether in the dehydration reaction. |
