In the present invention, peripheral blood of a human subject is collected, and after applying an immunostimulant, the transition of calcium ion concentration in peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMC) or CD8 T cells is examined. When the calcium ion concentration in PBMC or CD8 T cells increases and then returns to the pre-stimulation state, it is judged that systemic immune function is decreased, and calcium in PBMC or CD8 T cells is applied after application of the immunostimulant. The present invention relates to a method for examining immune function, in which the immune function of the whole body is judged to be normal when the ion concentration is in an increasing trend. |
