Provided is a method for easily producing a thermoplastic polymer composition by easily supplying polyisobutylene having a peak top molecular weight (Mp) of 5,000 to 80,000 to a hydrogenated block copolymer. Specifically, a hydrogenated block copolymer (a) and a polyisobutylene (b) having a peak top molecular weight (Mp) of 5,000 to 80,000 determined in terms of standard polystyrene by gel permeation chromatography are used. A method for producing a thermoplastic polymer composition comprising the following first and second steps is provided. 1st process: The process of supplying the said polyisobutylene (b) to the biaxial single screw extruder of a different direction rotation type, and plasticizing. Second step: A step having the following steps (i) and (ii). (I) A step of supplying the hydrogenated block copolymer (a) to a twin screw extruder. (Ii) The polyisobutylene (b) plasticized in the first step is supplied to a twin-screw extruder via a metering pump, and together with the hydrogenated block copolymer (a) supplied in the step (i) Kneading process. |
