abstract | The present invention provides a novel method for producing a pyrazinecarboxamide compound as a raw material for production of pharmaceuticals and the like, and a useful synthetic intermediate in the production method. As a result of intensive studies on a production method in industrial production of a pyrazinecarboxamide compound, the present inventors do not require purification by silica gel column chromatography by using predetermined raw materials and synthetic intermediates. The present invention has been completed by discovering that a pyrazinecarboxamide compound can be produced by a method suitable for industrial production as a pharmaceutical with greatly improved overall yield.
