A light irradiation device comprising a liquid phase portion formed of a near liquid and a second light-transmitting container covering the liquid phase portion, a photoreaction method using the light irradiation device, and a photoreaction method thereof A method for producing a lactam using the above is provided. It is possible to suppress light reflection between the light emitting diode light source and the target liquid and achieve desired light irradiation with high light transmittance. |
