titleOfInvention | Target nucleic acid detection method |
abstract | Summary A target nucleic acid detection method capable of detecting a target nucleic acid with high accuracy and high sensitivity is disclosed. The method for detecting a target nucleic acid includes a step of hybridizing a target nucleic acid contained in a specimen and a capture probe. At least one nucleobase in the nucleic acid molecule of the capture probe is substituted with a photoreactive group, and one or more spacers are inserted in the capture probe, so that the target nucleic acid and the capture probe are hybridized. After the step, the complex formed by hybridizing the target nucleic acid and the capture probe is irradiated with light to form a covalent bond between the photoreactive group and the nucleobase in the target nucleic acid. |
