titleOfInvention | Lipoprotein analysis method |
abstract | According to the present invention, the cholesterol ester or free cholesterol concentration can be calculated using the total cholesterol and triglyceride concentration of the lipoprotein contained in the sample. Further, according to the present invention, the lipoprotein particle concentration in a fraction can be calculated using the lipoprotein particle size in a certain fraction. In the present invention, the total cholesterol (Cho) concentration and triglyceride (TG) concentration contained in the test sample are detected. Cholesterol ester (CE) concentration or free cholesterol (FC) concentration is calculated using the detected Cho concentration and TG concentration. Furthermore, using the calculated cholesterol ester (CE) concentration or free cholesterol (FC) concentration, the lipoprotein particle concentration in a fraction can be calculated. |
