A method for imparting a vascular system to a biological tissue in vitro, comprising co-culturing the biological tissue with vascular cells and mesenchymal cells. A biological tissue provided with a vasculature by the above method. A method for producing a tissue or organ, comprising transplanting the biological tissue into a non-human animal and differentiating it into a tissue or organ in which a vascular network is constructed. A tissue or organ regeneration or function recovery method comprising transplanting the biological tissue into a human or non-human animal and differentiating it into a tissue or organ in which a vascular network is constructed. A method for producing a non-human chimeric animal, comprising transplanting the biological tissue into a non-human animal and differentiating it into a tissue or organ in which a vascular network is constructed.
