abstract | An object of the present invention is to provide a polyarylene sulfide resin composition containing nickel fine particles having a smaller average particle size and a simple and versatile production method thereof. Furthermore, it is an object of the present invention to provide a production method capable of stably obtaining polyarylene sulfide at low temperature and in a short time when converting cyclic polyarylene sulfide to polyarylene sulfide. Cyclic polyarylene sulfide is heated in the presence of at least one selected from (i), (ii) and (iii), and includes nickel fine particles having an average particle size of 0.5 to 20 nm. A polyarylene sulfide resin composition is produced. |
