Nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery |
abstract |
An object of the present invention is to provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery that suppresses oxidative decomposition of an electrolytic solution in a high-temperature environment and dramatically improves high-temperature storage characteristics and cycle characteristics. A nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery of the present invention includes a positive electrode plate having a positive electrode active material, a negative electrode plate having a negative electrode active material, and a nonaqueous electrolyte, and the positive electrode active material is a lithium transition metal composite oxide. And at least one of a rare earth hydroxide and a rare earth oxyhydroxide is present on the surface of the positive electrode active material, and the nonaqueous electrolyte contains fluoroarene. |
