titleOfInvention Diffractive multifocal ophthalmic lens and manufacturing method thereof
abstract In a diffractive multifocal ophthalmic lens capable of forming multiple focal points, its mechanism has been elucidated for the purpose of reducing blur vision, which is likely to be a problem in distance vision in photopic environments. Disclosed is a diffractive multifocal ophthalmic lens having a novel structure capable of effectively reducing the blurred vision and improving the quality of appearance, which has been found from a solution based on the elucidated results, and a method for manufacturing the same. In the diffractive multifocal ophthalmic lens 10, a photopic vision state in the optical unit 12 is a canceling region that gives an amplitude distribution that destructively reduces the sideband that is the main cause of blur vision on the image plane at one focal point. It was formed in a region corresponding to the pupil diameter.
