titleOfInvention Exhaust purification filter
abstract An exhaust gas purification filter (4) for collecting particulate matter contained in exhaust gas, which is suitable for being arranged in an exhaust passage of an internal combustion engine, has exhaust gas inflow passages (5i) arranged alternately. And an exhaust gas outflow passage (5o) and a porous partition wall (6) separating the exhaust gas inflow passage and the exhaust gas outflow passage from each other. A pore region (CZ) is defined upstream of the partition wall, and a coarse pore region (NCZ) is partitioned downstream of the partition wall. The average pore diameter of the partition walls in the coarse pore region is set to be larger than the average pore diameter of the partition walls in the pore region, and the ash contained in the exhaust gas is set to pass through the partition walls. The exhaust purification filter includes an accelerating member (8) that promotes the exhaust gas flowing into the exhaust gas inflow passage through the partition wall in the pore region and into the exhaust gas outflow passage.
