A chromate film or a non-chromate film, a phenol resin primer layer, and a polyol-crosslinked fluororubber layer are sequentially formed on one or both surfaces of the steel plate from the steel plate side. And a rubber layer obtained by applying a fluororubber composition containing a polyol-based crosslinking agent, an amine-based crosslinking accelerator, and silica to the phenol resin primer layer and then heating. A gasket material characterized in that the system crosslinking accelerator is a tertiary amine or a salt of a tertiary amine obtained by reaction of a tertiary amine and an acid. According to the present invention, in an actual usage environment of a gasket mounted on a vehicle engine, even when used in contact with dissimilar metals, rubber peeling does not occur in a portion that comes into contact with water or antifreeze liquid. It is possible to provide a gasket material in which the rubber layer is hardly worn or delaminated at the seal portion. |
