abstract | The present invention provides a maleate excellent in storage stability, solubility, crystallinity and ease of handling with high purity and efficiency (without performing column purification). A compound represented by formula (2) is obtained by reacting a compound represented by formula (3) with a compound represented by formula (4) in the presence of a base. The compound represented by formula (2) is precipitated by mixing the compound represented by 2) with acetone and water, and the resulting crystal of the compound represented by formula (2) is dissolved in acetone. The maleic acid salt represented by the formula (1) is obtained by adding maleic acid to the acetone solution of the compound represented by the formula (2) prepared by the step represented by the formula (1).
