abstract | The apparatus for producing titanium metal according to the present invention includes (a) a magnesium evaporating section for evaporating solid magnesium, a first flow path for supplying gaseous magnesium communicating with the evaporating section, and (b) supplying gaseous titanium tetrachloride. A gas mixing part in which gaseous magnesium and titanium tetrachloride communicating with the first channel and the second channel are mixed, and the absolute pressure is 50 kPa to 500 kPa, and the temperature is 1600. A gas mixing part controlled at or above C., and (d) a deposition base material in communication with the gas mixing part, at least a part of which is in a temperature range of 715 to 1500.degree. A metal titanium precipitation part and (e) the discharge part of the mixed gas connected to a metal titanium precipitation part are included. |
