The present invention provides a method of using kelp extract as an antimicrobial adjuvant. Moreover, the method of using as an antimicrobial composition which shows strong antimicrobial activity by using together this antimicrobial adjuvant, lactoperoxidase, glucose oxidase, and glucose is provided. 1st this invention is an antimicrobial adjuvant which uses the fraction of molecular weight 5000 or less obtained from a kelp extract as an active ingredient. The second present invention is an antibacterial composition comprising the antibacterial adjuvant of the present invention, lactoperoxidase, glucose oxidase and glucose. The third aspect of the present invention is an antibacterial composition further containing xanthan gum in the antibacterial composition. 4th this invention is the food / beverage products containing the antibacterial composition of this invention. |
