The polarizing plate of the present invention is a protective film in which at least one protective film is hydrophilized by either plasma treatment or corona treatment in a polarizing plate in which both sides of a polarizer are sandwiched between protective films, The surface energy before the hydrophilic treatment of the protective film and the surface energy after the hydrophilic treatment of the protective film satisfy a predetermined relational expression. |
