titleOfInvention Extraction method of hexavalent chromium
abstract Provided is a hexavalent chromium extraction method for extracting hexavalent chromium from a polymer material at a high extraction rate. A liquid sample is prepared by adding a fatty acid to a polymer material, water or an alkaline aqueous solution is added to the sample, and hexavalent chromium contained in the sample is dissolved in water or an alkaline aqueous solution. This is a method for extracting valent chromium. It is desirable that the fatty acid has 11 or more carbon atoms. Moreover, it is desirable that the concentration of the alkaline aqueous solution is 0.1 mol / L or more and 1.0 mol / L or less.
