There has been disclosed a photocatalyst member that sufficiently exhibits a decomposition function by a photocatalyst for a long period of time even in a usage form that requires hot water resistance and acid resistance. The member is a member having a photocatalytic decomposition function in which photocatalytic metal oxide particles are fixed on the base material, and the base material has a surface subjected to silicic acid flame treatment. And the photocatalytic metal oxide particles are fixed on a surface of the substrate on which the silicic acid flame treatment has been performed by a silicon-based binder. |
